The last days of summer camp 2017 are quickly approaching. We have had an amazing time this summer creating memories that will last a lifetime but there’s still time to fit in one last week of camp.
Ethan Pursel is a cherished camper who has been attending The Watersports Camp for six years. Ethan has high functioning autism, which requires 1-on-1 attention at all times from a dedicated inclusion counselor. We can not believe that we are about to wrap up week 5 of camp already. This summer season is flying by and we’d love to share all the fun we have been having so far! Photographer, author, and former MBAC ski instructor, David N. Sattler, has generously donated copies of his book, The Miracle of Life at La Jolla Cove to be given to each camper in the upcoming weeks of marine science camp. The book is an anthology of photographs celebrating the landscapes and wildlife of La Jolla Cove and features a foreword by renown primatologist Jane Goodall. Read More
