MBAC- Where blue meets green

You probably haven’t even noticed the difference, in fact that’s the point, but the MBAC has been become a model for sustainable business practices right under your nose. It just goes to show that there are changes a company can make to be more eco- friendly that can be easier than you think and sometimes just require a change in how you think.

MBAC veteran returns as new camp coordinator

We are pleased to welcome back former MBAC employee, Julia Greenfield, as The Watersport Camp’s new Camp Operations Coordinator. Julia worked at MBAC during her time as a student at SDSU before leaving for the Caribbean.

New drinking fountain serves up cold, filtered goodness

The MBAC just completed installation of a new drinking fountain capable of serving up ice cold filtered, refreshing drinking water perfect for quenching your thirst on a hot summer day. Don’t worry if you forgot your water bottle, we've got one for you.

The MBAC will be celebrating Earth Day on the campus of SDSU by participating in the SDSU Earth Day Celebration hosted by E3 Enviro-business society. Come to the event and learn what you or your business can do to operate in a more sustainable way. For more information on the event visit the E3 website.

I Love A Clean San Diego challenges San Diegans to take an active role in protecting our environment. This Earth Day, gather family and friends to participate in the 8th Annual Creek to Bay Cleanup on Saturday, April 24th from 9AM – 12noon. Volunteer alongside 5,000 others to preserve San Diego’s natural heritage. Take pride in our treasured outdoor areas by volunteering at one of 68 coastal and inland cleanup sites countywide.
