MBAC can make your Valentine's date great
This Valentine’s Day treat your special someone to a romantic outing in Mission Beach. We offer a wide variety of options that leave you with little planning and will make your significant other feel like you went above and beyond this Valentine’s Day! Simply choose what offering best suits your needs and leave all the planning and hard work up to our great instructional staff to make sure you have an extraordinary outing. We asked our staff what date ideas would impress them, and here is what they said:
Learn to Surf
MBAC is offering a 2-session surfing class for all levels from beginner to advanced on Saturday, February 13th and Sunday, February 14th from 9:30am-12:00pm. Learn to surf together so that you can take the skills you learn in the class and go out surfing together on your own. Class Fee: $79 per person, Current SDSU/UCSD Students: $65 per person.
Go on a Moonlight Kayak
Kayak side by side, or work together in a tandem kayak, under the moonlight with your date. We are offering classes from 5:00pm-9:00pm on Saturday, February 13th and Sunday, February 14th. Prior to launching kayaks, our staff will roll out the BBQ for you to grill your favorite dish. Bring food for yourself or to share with others at the potluck BBQ before paddling out. Kayaking together along the glassy water of Mission Bay with the San Diego cityscape in the distance is a romantic, fun experience. Class Fee: $45 per person, Current SDSU/UCSD Students: $35 per person.
Charter a Private Sailboat
MBAC offers private sailboat charters for up to 6 people per boat. Have one of our USSAILING certified instructors take you cruising across Mission Bay on one of our 24-foot keelboats. Feel free to bring aboard a picnic lunch or pack some chocolate-covered strawberries. Our instructors will do all the work to make sure you have a relaxing, romantic time. Minimum 2 hours. Fee: $55/hour + $10/hour for each additional person, Current SDSU/UCSD Students: $35/hour + $10/hour for each additional person.
