Camperships Need Your Help!
Did you know that The Watersports Camp offers a financial assistance program to help children from families who cannot afford the full cost of camp? This year alone, The Watersports Camp Campership grant program has helped over 150 local youth experience the joys of summer camp. Funding for the Campership program is made possible by the California Department of Boating & Waterways, the California International Sailing Foundation, and the San Diego Yacht Club Sailing Foundation. However, we are not even halfway through summer and those funds have been exhausted due to the high volume of families in need of financial assistance. We are seeking contributions from you to help us continue to make The Watersports Camp affordable for all. You can make a tax-deductible donation online, or you can send a personal check payable to "Peninsula Family YMCA" mailed to P.O. Box
6678, San Diego, CA 92166-0678. Please write “Camperships” in the memo line of the check so we know to send you a receipt of your donation. Thank you for your continued support!
