Whether you're taking the class for credit or not, time is running out!
While there is still space available in all sections of the semester-long ENS watersports classes, the window of opportunity to add after the semester starts is pretty short. SDSU students who still need to add the 1 unit of credit must pick up an add code and register on webportal before September 15th. USD students who want to add a watersports class for .5 units of credit only have until September 13.

Local women’s wakeboaring phenom, and Mission Bay Aquatic Center instructor, Kim Kirch won the junior women’s division at the 17th annual WWA World Wakeboard Championship in Orlando, Florida. Kim got her start wakeboarding when she was 13 as a camper at MBAC.

For most of this summer at the Watersports Camp, Counselors-in-Training (CITs) dedicated their to time bettering the beaches around Mission Bay with Project CIT.
The CITs have not only cleaned up 200 lbs of trash along the bay during daily beach clean ups, but they focused on educating campers at the Watersports Camp about living a sustainable lifestyle.

Coastal Cleanup Day is back! Sign up to join the biggest volunteer event in San Diego County. You can register for yourself or a group, but please contact us if you will have a group of 20 or more. Remember to bring your own bucket and work gloves to the cleanup this year so we can reduce waste heading to the landfill. Thanks for your interest in serving your community and environment!
