Glen has been the only Director of the Mission Bay Aquatic Center since
it's inception June 25th, 1973. Under Glen's leadership, with the support
of visionary student leaders in the early 1970's, the Mission Bay Aquatic
Center was established through a unique combination of melding the resources,
common goals and interests of three complex public entities… SDSU,
UCSD and the City of San Diego. What remains today is a model program
and testimony to the fact that it is possible to create something unique
where nothing existed before. Articles
