Scott Schaad has been wakeboarding for ten years, and more recently has developed a
passion for wakeskating. Spending countless hours on the water, teaching friends, driving
boats and just plain having fun has helped him develop into a top quality wakeboarding
instructor. He grew up riding and working on Tablerock Lake in Southern
Missouri. After relocating to San Diego to attend SDSU, he discovered the Aquatic
Center, took a class just for the sake of getting out on the water once a week, and the
rest is history!
What is your favorite part of instructing wakeboarding?
“Wakeboarding is not just a sport, it’s a feeling and a lifestyle. When I get a first-timer
out there behind the boat, get them up for the first time and see those feelings of nervousness
turn to feelings of excitement, that is when instructing is most rewarding.” |
