In partnership with the California State Parks Division of Boating and Waterways we will be kicking off National Safe Boating Week on Sunday, May 15th with our annual Safe Boating Day event full of fun and excitement.
The celebration includes free kayak and paddleboard rentals with instruction, a free lifejacket giveaway, a used equipment sale, USCG Auxiliary vessel inspections, and tons of boating safety information to make sure you are ready for a fun and safe summer on the water.
Mission Bay Aquatic Center is the regional boating safety center for the California State Parks Division of Boating and Waterways. This fun event will begin at 8am on May 15th where you will be able to pick up a free lifejacket, enjoy a free kayak or paddleboard rental, or load up on some great used equipment for sale. All rentals must be returned by 5:30pm. Bring your friends and the entire family down to share in the excitement of preparing for a fun and safe summer boating season.
